The Ada County Sheriff’s Office does much more than provide law enforcement service for unincorporated areas of Ada County and the cities of Eagle, Kuna, and Star and operate the Ada County jail.
The ACSO runs the 911 Public Safety Communication Center for all 11 Treasure Valley law enforcement and fire agencies. That means all 911 and non-emergency calls made in the county come to the ACSO, where our dispatchers coordinate all police, fire, and Emergency Medical Service movement within the county.
We keep a registry of all sex offenders in the county. We process public records requests and provide crime-mapping services for the public.
We also create monthly and annual reports so citizens of Ada County can be informed about how the ACSO works to ensure this is a safe place to live, work, and play.
